hi,
wanna study in international film school.

i'm a citizen in Sri Lanka. Our country does not possess a formal & an academic level teaching for film making. But National Film Cooperation is conducting a diploma course for film making. I’m a student who has completed the diploma. Amongst all the economic problems in our country, we are given the theoretical knowledge of award winning directors from both Sri Lanka & abroad. I crave for a formal study of film making. But our poverty stands amidst all my expectations.
I have no faith in religion that has been inherited to us by birth & by tradition. Although it is a philosophy, our preceding generations have been scored of it & they still prove to be slaves of it; all life styles are adopted according to the religion. The consequence is that our society is not proceeding. It has became a victim of about life without being interrupted by religion.
The present political system in Sri Lanka is a nuisance too. For instance, there are films & film titles which the government sponsors & thinks that should be produced. Film carrying only these themes are shown in Sri Lanka. Others are banned. According to my opinion, “Art” does not comprehend what is to “ban”.
