CP was born in Mexico City in 1993 as a result of the electronic music that crossed the country in the last 20 years. The Cid Project concept brings to mind the minimal sounds of new bit, the aggressive beats of TBM music and the melody and atmosphere of electroclash. CID PROJECT is comprised of just Gustavo Cid and his sound machines. He has played in major clubs in Mexican lands like Tutti Frutti, La Victoria bar ( www.myspace.com/lavictoria92), Café Bizarro (www.cafebizarro.com), Fuzz Club, Rockotitlan, Medusas Club, Rock Stock, Dada X ( www.dadax.com.mx ),UTA Underground (www.utaunderground.com), Mancera Lounge Bar, and the Hard Rock Café. He has played in some important college festivals like UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico), Universidad Iberoamericana, UVM (Universidad del Valle de Mexico), IPN (Instituto Politecnico Nacional), etc… And he played in the "Formation Tour 2005" in Mexico City with SOMAN and VNV NATION, and MX Fest 2.0 with MELOTRON,DULCE LIQUIDO,ASTEHETIC PERFECTION, DEUS EX MACHINE. Apart from CID PROJECT, he participated in other bands like PANORAMA, CUATRO X CUATRO and A-CID-O. CID PROJECT also appears on an Independent Compilation of the DADA X Club, with bands like CENOBITA, HOCICO, and AMDUSICA. And he just put out his first independent single EP "Listen TO my Mind".
