About Me

Interests

To promote literature, creative writing, poetry for all the people.
Democracy action: the imagination power or la imaginacón al poder.
Art for all the people, art like a style of life.
Be your self step by step, slowly, reading, writing, painting, dancing, playing music...Loving. Nothing else.

We are no machines, we are no numbers, we are no conventions, we are energy, creative energy... we are LOVE.

The promotion of the reading and of the writing.
I believe that the whole world is capable of enjoying aesthetically the literature and that the whole world is capable of creating it.
I believe that the world has been ordained in order that not they all have access to the aesthetic plabra, to the creative word.
I believe that to take the posbilidad of the internal dialog is possible.
As professional of the aesthetic word, of the literature it(he,she) wanted to see that in isolated sites(places), neighborhoods, schools, hospitals, jails, Orphanages, lodgings, etc... TO READ AND TO WRITE LITERATURE REPRESENTS(REPRESENT) A WAY OF COMMUNICATING WITH US THEMSELVES AND WITH OUR DIFFICULT AND HARD REALITY, TO UNDERSTAND IT, TO FACE HER AND TO ACCEPT IT, TO BE ABLE TO TRANSFORM IT.

To read and to write to provoke the soul. To help myself to wanting the internal thing. To see in the others and in everything what surrounds a reflection(reflex) of the intense love that I take inside...

To read, to write, to imagine, to construct possible worlds, to know ourselves us themselves and to realize the adventure that is to live.

Every life is a dream, a book, an epic to write.
Every fight is carried out inside: there the ogres and the dragoons are.

WE ARE MIRRORS.

WE labourez MIRRORS.

The book that we read and write is ours, when we read and write of the others.

Favorite Quote

"A person who has untangled Skeleton Woman knows patience, knows better how to wait. He is not shocked or afraid of spareness. He is not overwhelmed by fruition. His needs to attain, to "have right now"; are transformed into a finer craft of finding all facets of relationship, observing how cycles of relationship work together. He is not afraid to relate to the beauty of fierceness, the beauty of the unknown, the beauty of the not-beautiful. And in learning and working at all these, he becomes the quintessential wild-lover." (pp.158-159)

" (Pp.158-159)

Hi dear friend
Just to wish you a great weekend

And a few words:

Standing
Waiting for another wave
Feeling that
Little touch of the sand
What does the sky whispers?
What does the sunset brings?
Will the moon tell a secret?
Lying there
Between the cold and the old
Rain touch’s feels like pain
Wake up and run away
There is no point in stay
As long as you are loss
As long as you believe not

From your friend in Cape Verde

I like it – The Poem to the Sacred Tree.
There is something about poetry that is the way it makes you feel. Actually I think writing and reading poems is about feel. It is feelings in words. Words with feelings.
So what I feel about your poem – the unity in each little thing in the nature – la planta, el árbol, las estrellas, las piedras, la mujer. Without the tree how would the plants shine like they do?
Without the tree what the wind would touch softly but with ardour?
The tree is the life of the universe, the life within each plant, stone and wind. But how would the tree be that sacred and so full of life if it hadn’t got the plant, a woman sitting next to it, a stone and the stars at night…. It wouldn’t be tree, it wouldn’t be sacred, and it would be empty.
And the tree is also each piece of life in each woman… I wonder if I would be what I am if, comparing me to your tree, if I hadn’t the wind whispering in my face. I would never be an island; my body would be just emptiness…..
So what else can I say – your words inspired me. And that is Poetry – inspiration, feelings, open doors of your inside, dig in and meet yourself as a self and as part of others selves – things and persons.
I remember the words of a Brazilian poet I love (Elisa Lucinda) who said that poetry wouldn’t be poetry if it didn’t fit in the reader’s life.
I will send you some stuff I wrote; just tell me your e-mail. Mine is vanymedina@hotmail.com. I wonder if you understand Portuguese because that’s my first language so I write the most in Portuguese. If you don’t I will translate although it wouldn’t be the same.
Interesting and noble work you are doing there Alan. See read is great to develop our minds, to learn, to change. But read poetry is something…..it is about develop, learn, change and more than that – it is about life and love, it is something deeper, it is beauty! So keep doing your thing! It is a nice way to educate (like something I read on a blog about a father who educated his son thru movies). Hope we can go on with this kind of dialogue and share our experiences thru written words.

She asks: Dance with me
You Whisper: There is no music
She put your arms around her body and answers back near to your ears: Dance with me and you will listen to music all the time. Feel me and your life will taste like music
You don’t need to see your heart to know that you have one.
He just dances.

They believe my love that I am a poet
But how would they guess
That I am not
When it’s hard to see
That I never saw the colour of love
They believe my love
But me, I know
Nothing but a thief
I steal other’s feelings
That I wanted to sense
I take words from other hearts
But how would I declare guilty
If I quit stealing
Is the same as giving up of living
Giving up of being
Me

Thank you for answering back so quickly Alan.
I am a Buddhist since I was 20 years old and it is the most important thing that happened in my life cause by the moment I started to practice everything else changed…..started my the inside and ending in the way I see the world and feel things and people. It’s beautiful……. It’s like the power of a smile :)
Yes I love poetry, I love to read and write poetry or I try to :) It cleans up my soul; it feeds my heart….. Me, an artist? I would like to believe so :) Maybe I can say Yes I am an artist considering that we all can be one
I practiced Yoga but my teacher (she is from USA) left Cape Verde so I’ve quit. Now I am trying to do it by myself….
You can write in Spanish cause I understand everything. I just don’t feel so comfortable to write in Spanish so if you don’t mind I will do it in English. I guess now that I met you I can practice my Spanish
I would like to know more about your work, it really interests me.
Hug you
Vânia

Hi, nice to meet you “virtually” :)
So, you are a Nichiren Daishonin Buddhist too?
It’s always nice to meet a person who has the same beliefs!
That’s why would like to have the opportunity to talk to you since you seem to be a very sensitive person (by your words). And because it is the first time I meet someone form Mexico (have friends from several countries but none are Mexican).
Hi5 is good for that – there are no boundaries.

I like poestry very much ;). But I'm also a little obliged to like it because we always have to comment poems at the french class. I haven't preferences but these 2 last years I studied romantic movement in French litteracy and there are 2 authors that I've liked: Lamartine (méditations poétiques) and Victor Hugo (contemplations). I find their style very singular. About spanish litteracy I don't know many things but I think that Garcia Lorca is a good poet.
And you? What kind of poetry do you like?
